Grown in the highland slopes of Huehuetenango, Guatemala, this washed SHB comes from the La Morena program, a collective of women farmers delivering consistent quality from one of the country’s most revered coffee regions. Huehuetenango’s unique climate and terrain lend clarity and balance to the lot, with bright but approachable acidity and a clean structural frame.
Roasted to an early medium, we aimed for sweetness and transparency in the cup. Expect rounded milk chocolate and brown sugar at the center, with a soft stone fruit lift that reads like gentle cherry notes layered into the profile. Lightly bright yet harmonious, the cup finishes clean with lingering sweetness and a smooth, inviting body.
